Objectives of the Course

Survival techniques at sea. Location and usage of personal life saving appliances. Basic (elementary and medical) first aid. Fire prevention and firefighting. Maritime security; familiarization and awareness, and designated security duties. Personal safety and social responsibilities.

 

Learning Outcomes (LO)

 

On successful completion of this course, all students will have developed knowledge and understanding of:
