Objectives of the Course |
The main objectives of this course are:
1. To develop the skills for designing a small building 2. Introduce students to the basic concepts and theory of architectural design as a foundation for the following design studios. 3. To improve the students’ knowledge of the elements and principles of architectural design 4. To introduce students to the understanding of the formation process of basic building types 5. To introduce students to the understanding of the formation process of basic urban fabric 6. To apply the use of the research on a chosen example to the design process. |
