Objectives of the Course |
The main objectives of this course are: 1. To operate the design as a process oriented activity. 2. To define the context and the content of the project. 3. To develop proper responses according to needs and demands. 4. To verify the very critical essence of profession in the project. 5. To develop the knowledge and skills of analyzing and evaluating. 6. To create the method of design, and improve design and presentation skills accordingly. 7. To employ the process of design which this contains the feedback system of Objectives, Goals and Policies. 8. To develop evidence based and creative conceptual design through the problem solving abilities. 9. To integrate knowledge and skills that student has learned during other courses; from the Idea Generation up to Technical issues. 10. To express design ideas by employing presentation techniques and communication skills as significant aspects of the design project.

Learning Outcomes |
Student who successfully completes this course will be able: 1. To identify an architectural project through a research oriented process. 2. To use design methodologies in respect to the context & the content of project. 3. To evaluate design problems from multiple perspectives 4. To design the whole project respecting the technological environmental, economic and social principles. 5. To design suitable structural systems and building components. 6. To demonstrate on a theoretical basis the designed project. 7. To write the final report for the designed project.
